It looks like Disney will be coming to Singapore, with a special Asia edition of its D23 fan event.

In an announcement today, The Walt Disney company has announced that D23 Asia would be coming to Asia in 2027, though no dates have been locked yet for the event.
Similar to the event held in the US, the Singapore edition will feature special guests from audiences' favorite Disney-owned movies, promising "three packed days of showcases" for superfans of the House of Mouse.
Additionally, the event will also reportedly feature exclusive previews for APAC originals for Disney+.
The Magic Of D23
For those in the know, D23 is the site of some of the biggest reveals for Disney-owned projects- last year's event included closed-door screenings for footage from Avengers: Doomsday as well as The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Additionally, the event also covered films from Pixar's catalogue including this year's Hoppers.
Given the current expanse of the Disney empire, the event's arrival in Singapore could be hot for fans.
The Walt Disney Company has placed quite an emphasis on Singapore for their Southeast Asian operations- the country also plays host to the recently launched Disney Cruise.
