In a post on Facebook by director Daniel York Loh, he announced that the actress, whose filmography includes Doctor Who and Mind Your Language, had passed away at the age of 80.

"She was so affectionate, so witty, so brilliantly scabrous and absolutely honest about the rubbish this industry deals actors of our heritage – unlike a fair few others who actually try and cape it", Daniel says.

"We'll miss you so much but thank you, Pixi, for blessing our lives with your unique presence", he continues.

Pik Sen Lim had still been hard at work even in recent years- in 2022 she had a recurring role in Vampire Academy, while also appearing for one episode in 2023's The Nevers.

Her Role As The Dark Souls Narrator

Not many people had initially realized that Penang-born Pik Sen Lim was the voice of the Dark Souls narrator, introducing the major bosses for all three of the series entries with stories of Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight as well as the Lords of Cinder in Dark Souls 3.

While she was absent from follow-up From Software series Elden Ring, she did have one more contribution to the gaming community, voicing a teaser trailer for the YouTube Channel RKG in 2019, run by ex-IGN staffers.
