Devil May Cry Netflix Release

While Devil May Cry has always had a veneer of early 2000s energy, the Netflix series seems to lean into this extra hard with opening credits that feature Limp Bizkit's Rollin'.

The Devil May Cry Netflix series isn't an adaptation of any particular game, instead being a unique take on the series.

The opening itself features enemies from across the series, like Nelo Angelo, Cavaliere Angelo and even Mundus.

Similarly, eagle eyed fans can spot the emblem for the Order of the Sword from DMC 4, as well as Nero's Red Queen among the pile of swords at the start.

It also features an extremely deep pull, with the series villain seemingly being the White Rabbit from the DMC 3 manga, flanked by Echidna from DMC4 and Cavaliere Angelo from DMC .

As a previous trailer confirms, it also sports one more surprise, with Dante being played by Johnny Young Bosch instead of series staple Reuben Langdon.
