Fatal Fury COTW Is Getting A Story Mode One Year In

One year after its release, Fatal Fury COTW is getting a proper story mode alongside its new character Wolfgang Krauser as part of the game's anniversary update. 

The new story mode, titled Wolves' Destiny, will launch for Fatal Fury COTW on April 24th, and will feature full voice acting.

The story mode also launches alongside this month's DLC character, Krauser.

It covers the return of Wolfgang Krauser, as tries to take South Town from Kain following his defeat in the King of Fighters Tournament. 

The mode is more than just cutscenes, with built-in fights that let you choose routes based on which character you control. 

In addition, the update will also see a new costume released for Kain, based on his appearance in the new story mode.

Story Modes And Fatal Fury COTW

This isn't the first piece of story content for the Fatal Fury game- it previously included Arcade modes as well as the RPG mode Episodes of South Town, which featured quests and stories following your characters of choice. 

Wolves Destiny, however, would be the first universal story mode coming to the game, actually advancing the plot forward.
