Indie developer The Maniac Martian has released FEED MY MECH, a new short horror experience about being stuck inside a metal coffin as you explore the underground.

Available now, FEED MY MECH sees you exploring an underground colony and collecting scrap- though it's not quite clear if there's something else down there with you.

Of course, it's not just the setting at work- a big chunk of the game's appeal also comes from specific choices about how you control the mech itself.

For one, you're completely locked inside your mech- no windows, only screens like a motion tracker to tell you about the outside world.

Additionally, don't expect the mech to control anything like the high tech speedsters of Mecha Break, as you're instead spinning knobs and the like just to turn your machine around while you sift through screens.

A trailer for the game also shows it's not like you can't see whatever horrors are waiting for you- unfortunately those horrors become part of your machine, meaning you'll need to do as the title says to keep yourself going.
