Gawr Gura Graduation Announced As One Of Hololive's Biggest Talents Hangs It Up

Cover Corporation has announced the date of the Gawr Gura graduation, s one of the founding members of Hololive English leaves the Vtuber company.

The Gawr Gura graduation date is set for May 1st, with her reason being "disagreements with management and company direction".

"When I think about how many of you I've been able to connect with, it brings me so much joy", she says in her announcement video.

Gura herself is considered one of Hololive's heavy-hitter talents among fans, being the most-subscribed Vtuber at 4.5 million subs.

The Cover Corporation office also features a life-sized statue of her among other talents, that is also brought to events.

Gawr Gura Graduation Fulfills A Long Running Fan Fear

Fans had long speculated that Gura would join the growing list of talents exiting Hololive- despite being one of its most popular members, she was also markedly less active.

Days prior, fans noted her image had been removed from the Hololive Tokyo Ambassador program.

This is the third major departure from Hololive English and sixth from Hololive overall in the past year- fellow gen-mate Amelia Watson from Hololive English Myth had also graduated last year, as well as Hololive Promise's Ceres Fauna and Nanashi Mumei.

Meanwhile, the Japanese side has also seen the departure of Murasaki Shion, Minato Aqua and Sakamata Chloe.
