Gundam Rogue Orbit Announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Gundam Rogue Orbit, a new action game based on the popular Mobile Suit Gundam IP. 

Launching in 2027, Gundam Rogue Orbit will be releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. 

Gundam Rogue Orbit Details

Gundam Rogue Orbit appears to be a new timeline, with humanity facing off an "unknown" foe. 

Players play as RE-X, a the pilot of the Gundam Helix as you push back these threats in melee-intensive action sequences. 

The Gundam Helix itself is equipped with a large greatsword as well as what appears to be funnels, firing beams at nearby targets. 

From the short glimpses of combat shown, it looks like players will have access to both combos and quick dodges, as well as a charged slash for the true Greatsword aficionados. 

Additionally, the Gundam Helix also comes equipped with a gun, though we haven't seen it used outside of the introduction cinematic.
