Hololive Announces HoloWitches Magical Girl Project With 6 Cute Magical Girl Redesigns For Your Favorite Vtubers

Cover Corporation has announced Magical Girl HoloWitches, a multimedia project themed around magical girls and featuring their own Hololive Vtubers.

Similar to Hololive Alternative, HoloWitches will span "anime, manga and livestreams", built around the theme of the featured Vtubers also being magical girls.

The first chapter of the manga is even available to read on the project's website.

To celebrate the launch Cover Corporation even put out an animated PV showing off the setting of the Magical girl project, and even including the transformation sequences for each of the girls.

It's a fun little nod to what's made the Magical girl genre so enduring overall- complete with a glimpse at some on-genre transformation sequences and even two mascot characters.

Hololive is no stranger to these kind of themed projects- aside from the previously announced Hololive Alternative brand, they'd also had different side projects like UMISEA, a sub-unit comprised of all the nautical-themed Vtubers.

It's part of the flexibility of Hololive as a brand- while talents will debut as a "Generation", they can also be involved in other projects and subunits independent of it- allowing the company to arrange them by ability, theme and popularity.
