Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Introduces Its Next Emanator Character

HoYoverse has announced the details of Honkai Star Rail 4.2, with a bold next step in the Phantasmoon Games.

This patch launches on April 22nd, and includes rewards to celebrate the third anniversary of Honkai Star Rail.

Picking up from the last patch, the Phantasmoon Games has had a sudden escalation: its winner will now become the new Aeon of Elation permanently, suddenly turning the feat of attaining cosmic godhood into a much more realistic goal. 

As a result, all supplicants of the game are invited to Fulwish TV, where they must fight the strongest enemy of all- the mass media and debate their claim to aeonhood in Seafeld City. 

In addition, the version also includes a variety of special events and rewards for players to celebrate the anniversary, with 20 pulls available via the Festive Gifts event as well as an additional free 1600 Stellar Jades for logging in on the anniversary itself. 

Additionally, Huohuo and Robin will be added to the Stellar Convergence pool, letting players redeem them using their Golden Companion Spirits that they've been storing up. 

Honkai Star Rail 4.2 Characters

Naturally, this patch also features two new characters, including the debut of the next Emanator- Silver Wolf LV.999, as well as the mysterious Evanescia. 

Silver Wolf LV.999 is an Imaginary Elation character, able to raise her Hidden MMR and activate her Godmode Player state. 

From here, she can activate a powerful Reward Stage to spawn in-game items, as well as shaking up the game's controls and buffing her teammates. 

As an Elation character, she can also make use of Aha Instants, dealing big damage with a game-crashing laser cannon.

Similar to Castorice, she also has an off-field buff, where the character gives your party Control immunity even when she isn't part of the line-up. 

Evanescia makes up the second half of the game's banner, and is a Physical Elation 5-star character. 

A variety of actions like regenerating energy or charging her builds up her Certified Banger resource, which allows her to regenerate energy and increase her damage. 

Hitting certain levels will trigger Master Fox, which will deal damage to all enemies and restoring her own energy.

These aren't the only two characters coming, however- The Trailblazer will also be able to switch to the Path of Elation, being able to deal Lightning damage to all enemies and gain Certified Banger. 

In addition, their ultimate also gives other teammates Certified Banger Status, as well as activating their Elation Skills. 

The banner schedule for Honkai Star Rail 4.2 is as follows: 

• First Half: Silver Wolf LV.999, The Dahlia, Castorice and Firefly (reruns)
• Second Half: Evanescia, Tribbie, Sunday and Feixiao (reruns).
