HoYo FEST 2025 Shows The Best Way To Improve On An Old Formula Is Add A Dash Of More Anime Con To It

HoYo FEST 2025 is well under way, with 4 days of fun and activities themed after popular games like Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact and more.

Running from today until July 27th, HoYo FEST 2025 is being held at Pavilion Exhibition Hall Bukit Jalil, on the top floor of Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Unlike previous years this year is a ticketed event- you'll want to get your tickets from the HoYo FEST website before making the trip over to check out all the gaming goodies.

Booth Games

Naturally, one of the biggest appeals of theese events is the booths- styled after all the major HoYoverse games, from Honkai Impact 3rd all the way up to Zenless Zone Zero. These are great photo spots in and of themselves- you can get photos with standees of characters like Cerydra and the long-suffering Phainon, or even with a big Butlerboo amids a hall of Zenless Zone Zero characters.

But there's also rewards to be claimed! Showing your UID for any of the games will get you in-game rewards for the event, and the Genshin Impact booth itself even features a minigame where you ruin the Saurians days by pelting them in Klee bombs.

In addition, there's also demo stations for the different games- complete challenges like Notorious Hunt in Zenless Zone Zero to get additional rewards and fill up your stamps to get a photo at the HoYoverse Photo Booth.

Artist's Alley

A new feature at HoYoFEST 2025, this year's event features Artist's Alley- letting the community join in on the excitement with fanworks based on their own favorite characters. I mean, walking through the first thing I saw was a life-sized cutout of Hugo from Zenless Zone Zero, so that should tell you the level of intensity you're dealing with at the artists alley.

Despite the name it's not just artists- there's even cosplayers having booths, so this might be your shot at meeting the people who put painstaking effort into looking like your favorite characters.

Right next to the booths are even a cool custom car display- from Evelyn Bikes to a Kiana-themed car, here's where you see the peak of HoYovese love- decking out your ride in your favorite characters.

Stage Activities

A HoYoFEST staple, HoYoFEST 2025 features a stage with games like quizzes for guests as well as the Imaginary Theater- letting players go head to head in games like Genshin Impact. The stage is located at the very end of the hall, so be sure to take a breather here after collecting stamps because there's always something on the program coming up.

HoYo FEST 2025 Merch

Naturally, one of the biggest appeals for HoYo FEST is the merch. From cool merchandise based on the Minscape Cinema arts from Zenless Zone Zero to even event-exclusives, you'll want to release some of your financial inhibitions if you want to get something truly special here.

There's something here for every kind of collector- simple acrylic stands if you just want something to remember your main by, or even more elaborate things like a long, long bangboo to become the talk of your office.

There's even plushies- from Genshin Impact critters to the Bangboo, fulfilling their destinies as New Eridu's most marketable mascot. Stocks are limited, so be sure not to hesitate and get the ones you want.
