The Pokemon Company has unveiled the new line of LEGO Pokemon sets, but here's the catch- they're probably out of the price range of the average Pokemon fan.
Unveiled last night, the LEGO Pokemon range includes buildable versions of several iconic Pokemon, and are available for pre order now ahead of their February 27th release.

Pre ordering the sets via the Pokemon Center will also get you the Kanto Region badge collection LEGO set, letting you feel like a Pokemon Master.
These include Pikachu and Eevee sets respectively, as well as the crown jewel of the set, a three-piece diorama of the fully evolved Kanto region starters.
While easily the most impressive of the collection, the LEGO Kanto starters come at a whopping USD649.99 (RM2636.36)- putting it even above the Nintendo Switch 2 in price.
The LEGO Pikachu and Eevees are at more sane prices, however, with Pikachu retailing for USD199.99 (RM811.46) while Eevee retails for USD59.99 (RM243.41).
Note that the Malaysian prices are direct conversions, and they may have localized prices when they come to Malaysia.
LEGO Pokemon Set Features

Admittedly though, if you're in the mood for a splurge these are pretty detailed Pokemon builds- the Pikachu comes with a lightning-shaped base and Pokeball you can pose it with, including a tail to give your buddy gender-affirming surgery.

Even the Eevee set is pretty expressive, letting you pose its ears and its legs in different poses.
The website even mentions a "Special easter egg" referencing the Pokemon's many branching evolutions.

As for the starter trio, the set lets you choose between displaying Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur separately, or as part of a big diorama.
The set contains a whopping 6838 pieces, so it's definitely going to be a fun use of your weekend putting together the iconic trio.
