Malaysia Hosts Its First VTuber Festival: V-MUSE – A Groundbreaking Virtual Music Experience

The global VTuber guild, Team Comfy VT, in collaboration with MediBeats Productions, is set to bring VTubers closer to fans than ever before with V-MUSE, South East Asia's first VTuber Music Festival Taking place on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at JioSpace in Petaling Jaya, this festival will feature an exciting blend of 2D, 2.5D, and 3D virtual performances, alongside real-life acts.

VTubers, known for their animated avatars powered by VR and AR technologies, have become a global phenomenon. The V-MUSE festival aims to celebrate this growing trend by showcasing an array of musical talents from various VTuber agencies and independent creators. Fans of VTubers from VShojo, Production Kawaii, AKA Virtual Indonesia, Dexter, and Requiem are in for a treat, with special guest appearances teased to take the stage.

In an exciting announcement made on September 24, it was revealed that Mint Fantome will collaborate with the newly-formed international idol group, KLP48, during the Special Show.

The festival is described as the “Coachella” or “Good Vibes Festival” of the VTuber world, promising a 10-hour immersive musical journey with choreographed performances, surprises, and unprecedented collaborations. Fans can expect a unique experience as the VTubers, production team, artists, and crew all come together to create a spectacular, once-in-a-lifetime event.
