Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Release Date Announced

PlayStation and Arc System Works have announced the release date for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, as well as three new characters coming to the 4v4 fighter.

Revealed at today's State of Play, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will release on August 6th for PC and PS5, with pre orders open from February 19th.

PlayStation also announced the Ultimate Edition for the game, which confirms 4 DLC characters as part of the year 1 season pass as well as costumes for playable characters and chromatic colors.

In addition, today's trailer also gave us our first character drop since the game's reveal last year- adding the Unbreakable X-Men as playable characters as well as an English dub.

Alongside the previously announced Storm, the game will also feature Wolverine, Magik as well as Danger.

Wolverine is described as being an up close brawler character, having armored moves and having big hitboxes to establish a strong offense. 

Meanwhile Magik appears to be on the trickier end, being able to use her portals to mix opponents up.

Danger, on the other hand, plays by the zoner archetype, being able to set up traps and control space on the screen.
