After some radio silence, Amazing Seasun Games has announced a series of changes coming to their upcoming mech game, chief of which being the number of playable Mecha BREAK characters available at launch.

In a Tweet, they announced that Mecha BREAK characters would be adjusted so you'd have 12 available at the start of the game.

While never announcing the mechs by name, the post is accompanied by silhouettes, with Strikers like Welkin as well as Panther being featured in the image, as well as more support oriented mechs like Narukami.

In the previous beta, the game was criticized for only starting you off with one character- then having you grind currency to unlock more mechs for your hangar.

To that effect, Amazing SeaSun games has also announced other changes coming to the launch edition of the game- such as unlocking additional modes from the start like Mashmak and Ace Arena, as well as the ability to freely change your pilot's appearance.

They also announced another big change- the removal of Mods in 6v6 and 3v3 mode, meaning two identical mechs will not have different stats based on items pulled from loot crates.

Mecha BREAK is an upcoming mech-based hero shooter, featuring 3v3, 6v6 and even extraction modes for players.

While Mecha BREAK missed its initial Spring release date, there's been no word on a new launch- though the game will be a part of Summer Games Fest and will be having an AMA on June 9th.
