Creature collector card game Montabi has announced an Open Beta, letting players try out an updated version of the game's demo for a limited time.

In a press release, developers Mankibo annoucned that the Montabi Open Beta would run from March 10th to 17th, with an expanded amount of content for players to try.

For those not in the loop, Montabi is a roguelike deckbuilder built around Creature collecting, as you tame creatures called Montabi to fill out your 3x3 grid in combat.
Each Montabi has skills represented as cards, and can be used to target other Montabi, and the creatures can also be evolved into stronger versions.
A demo for the game is also available full-time for players who want a taste of the game's core mechanics.

Players jumping into the beta on PC can look forward to the following features:
- 22 Montabi evolution lines as allies and enemies
- 3 Trainers with starting Charms
- 9 Elites and 6 Bosses
- 3 Areas with 30 events
- 170+ new charms, equipment, and supplies
- 5 difficulty options: Casual, Rookie, Challenger, Expert, Veteran
