Montabi Release Date Announced

Monster collecting tactics game Montabi has announced its release date, alongside showing some much edgier design for its host of  creatures. 

During its trailer at the Southeast Asian Games Showcase 2026, Akupara Games announced that Montabi would release on August 6th 2026 for PC and Xbox. 

An updated demo for the game will also be part of Steam Next Fest later this month. 

Montabi Gameplay

True to its monster collecting roots, Montabi has you collecting a cast of whimsical creatures with a strategy twist- you battle them on 3x3 grids. 

Each creature is its own deck of cards, and players can choose Montabi whose abilities synergize with each other. 

In addition, these creatures can even evolve, adding more strategy to your card-creature chaos.
