With Pokemon Champions allowing you to transfer Pokemon from other games, it's no surprise that one of its best pokemon would be locked behind another title's endgame altogether.

With Pokemon Champions allowing you to transfer Pokemon from other games, it's no surprise that one of its best pokemon would be locked behind another title's endgame altogether.

Eternal Flower Floette and, more importantly, its mega evolution Mega Floette, is one of the best Pokemon in Pokemon Champions right now- combining good typing with a big stat wall.

However, getting it isn't so easy- on top of beating Pokemon Legends ZA players will also need to clear its postgame content, the Infinite ZA Royale a total of 15 times before fighting their rival to unlock the unique Pokemon.

Mega Floette Pokemon Champions

As for its presence in Pokemon Champions, Mega Floette has all the strengths typically afforded to questionably-balanced legendary Pokemon- only without the restriction the game currently has on importing them.

According to competitive forum Smogon, Mega Floette acts as an all-around bruiser: having tanky stats for shrugging off damage, the already-good Fairy typing as well as an ability that enhances its own fairy type moves.

Using moves like its signature Light of Ruin after setting up with Calm Mind make it incredibly strong as a Special Attacker, being able to make short work of a lot of Dragon or Dark-type teams (sorry, Hydreigon).

Better yet, you can keep Mega Floette in a state of increased uptime with moves like Wish, allowing it to heal and keep going as it works through your opponent's roster.

In doubles, you can really turn Mega Floette into an impenetrable fortress- having partner Pokemon that either set up entry hazards or oppress stats with abilities like Intimidate make sure no one can reach Mega Floette in any way that matters.

On top of that, Pokemon from the regular competitive meta who would hard counter Mega Floette are noticably absent- ones like Metagross or Duralodon with strong Steel-type moves and stats to pair it up with aren't around, so you've got to play a little smarter to stop Mega Floette's rain of terror in Pokemon Champions.

That doesn't mean it has no counters, however: no amount of defense can save you from moves like Perish Song, and Pokemon like Mega Gengar who have Shadow Tag can lock Mega Floette in place until its Perish Counter drops to 0.
