Pokemon Master Ball League Comes To Sunway Convention Center This Weekend

Fans of competitive Pokemon can rejoice as the Pokemon Master Ball League 2026 comes to Malaysia this weekend.

The Pokemon Master Ball League 2026 kicks off on 9th May at Sunway Convention Centre, featuring events for Pokemon TCG, as well as the VGC for trainers playing Pokemon Champions. 

In addition, even non-competitors have plenty to do with side events at the venue, such as demo stations for the Nintendo Switch 2 with games like Pokopia, as well as machines for Pokemon Mezastar. 

Pokemon Master Ball League 2026 Malaysia Format

SImilar to previous events, the Pokemon Master Ball League 2026 in Malaysia will have different categories for the TCG side, with Junior, Senior and Masters categories. 

Meanwhile, the VGC division will compete in an All-Ages bracket. 

On the TCG side, Top 4 will receive a special Master Ball League promo Mega Lucario EX, while Top 2 Masters and 1st Place Senior and Junior Category players will win an invite to the Pokemon World Championships 2026 in San Francisco as well as the Travel Award. 

All participants in the Day 1 Qualifier will also receive a promo Poke Pad and playmat. 

For VGC, a total of 12 invites will be available for the Pokemon World Championship 2026, while top 2 will also receive the Travel Award. 

All competitors will also receive special merch themed after the event.
