In a surprise twist, it looks like the Revues aren't over yet: Revue Starlight is getting a sequel anime.
A new video was uploaded today to the official Revue Starlight YouTube channel, announcing the sequel project, though no release date or even premise was given.
Revue Starlight Sequel Details

Posted with the title "Someday [REDACTED] will reach someone", the new project won't simply be an episodic re-release of the movie.
The text at the end of the teaser confirms that it's instead an all new sequel, produced by Kinema Citrus Co. who also produced both the anime and the two movies.
Revue Starlight itself has always had a weird issue with timelines- the mixed media series consists of stage plays. manga, anime and a now-dead gacha game, all of which having different sequences of events.
That being said, the movie, Gekikouban Revue Starlight (Revue Starlight The Movie), acted as an epilogue for the anime, following the 99th class as they decide what they want to do when they graduate.

The series also had a console game release in 2024, titled Revue Starlight El Dorado which was a visual novel.
For those not in the loop, Revue Starlight followed a troupe of theater kids competing in Revues- mysterious competitions where they'd have to sing, dance and fight each other to obtain a magical tiara and become the Top Star.
