Chainsaw Man fans are somehow learning what it truly means to be on Tatsuki Fujimoto's Wild Ride, after a theory catches on that the popular character Reze was based on a porno.
On social media, fans have discovered porn star Hazel Roze, who, for the duration she keeps her clothes on, wears an outfit strikingly similar to Reze from Chainsaw Man in one of her videos.

The BDSM-specialized actress put out the videos as early as 11 years ago- meaning she had the similar sleeveless blouse-and-shorts combo well before Fujimoto had featured it in Chainsaw Man.
As usual, things can't just be fun tidbits of discovery on the internet, and some fans have voiced outrage that Fujimoto, author of a manga where its protagonists early motivation includes feeling boobs, might have watched porn with adults in it.
On Daum, Korean fans seem to act like the manga itself is retroactively bad now- enraged that Fujimoto isn't held to the same standard as idols.
"I thought the opposite;;;;; I thought that porn was referenced for the animation characters... But they referenced that porn? Ugh, seriously disgusting. How the hell does a comic like this even get shown in theaters? Seriously", writes user I의게임.
One more user has even taken a bigger next step- saying they never liked Chainsaw Man anyways.
"I seriously question why it's popular. Just disgusting. Just average", writes 이제는내크리스마스도.

Neither Shueisha, parent company of Shonen Jump nor Fujimoto himself have commented on the porno or the backlash from fans, nor has Hazel Roze commented on it anywhere I can search without being asked questions by HR.
That being said, the Reze Arc movie has been by all accounts a massive success for the Chainsaw Man IP- Sony Pictures reports that the film grossed USD 139 million globally as of early November, and outpacing the Dragon Ball Super: Broly and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movies in Japan.
How Will This Affect Fujimoto's Legacy? (Editorial)
As for Fujimoto, the man is an eccentric auteur and "Second most popular Chainsaw Man character being based on BDSM porn" would simply just be another part of his bizarre tapestry.
Aside from his YouTube channel where he attempted to levitate, the author had also admitted that he was "Over the moon" when a girl in college flipped his bike over, years before he would publish manga with mean women in the main roles.
In another interview, he confessed one of his biggest secrets- he ate his girlfriends fish.
All this to say that Fujimoto is an interesting guy who has been gracious enough to share what are fairly vulnerable moments instead of maintaining a purely professional image, and I hardly doubt this story being true would do anything outside of further cementing that public image.

As it stands he wouldn't be the only Japanese creator to base his popular character on foreign media- Kinoko Nasu, scribe behind Fate/Stay Night, Tsukihime and more had also famously based Arcueid's design off of a foreign model, with fans having only recently discovered the exact magazine featuring Canadian model Amanda Dyer (who has taken it all impeccably in stride).
