Netflix has announced a Solo Leveling live action series, with the webtoon-turned-anime being adapted for a new audience.
In a new Tweet, the streaming platform announced only one major detail on the Solo Leveling live action series: who exactly would be edgy main character Sung Jin-Woo.

Their answer? 20th Century Girl actor Byon Woo-seok would be picking up the iconic dual blades.
Solo Leveling Live Action The Next Step To Growing As A Phenomena
If anything, the interest in another adaptation for Solo Leveling is a big sign of its popularity- the webtoon has already been adapted into an anime as well as a mobile game.

Most recently, a paradoxically designed 4-player Co-op game titled Solo Leveling Arise OVERDRIVE was also announced based on the IP.
For those not in the loop, Solo Leveling is a fantasy story about Sung Jin-woo, a weak Hunter suddenly given the power to level up and get stronger following a harrowing experience.
The story speaks to all fans who adore a good power fantasy- following Jin-woo on his quest to become the King of the Dead.
