February 13, 2024 – SEGA is thrilled to reveal an extensive first look at Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, with key art, gameplay features, and other details! Additionally, starting today, add the game to your Wishlist on its PlayStation™Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store pages!

Also, we will be holding a Closed Network Test on PlayStation^®5! As we test the game's online functionality and attempt to identify any issues, we are offering players a chance to get early access to the online World Match mode. Applications for the Closed Network Test are now open, so don't miss your chance to sign up!

In this latest title, players can join Sonic and his friends for some high-octane, unpredictable racing fun against players worldwide! An elite crew of racing game developers is working to make Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds the most exciting SEGA racer to date, so stay tuned for further updates!

Features

The largest feature in the game is the introduction of Travel Rings. These portals transport players from one world into a CrossWorld, completely shaking up each race!

Dynamic Courses

Races consist of 3 laps, each with their own unique twists! After completing the first lap, pass through the Travel Ring and burst into a CrossWorld. This transforms the second lap and comes with other massive changes. Finally, end the race with a bang, featuring a final lap that returns you to the original course with new locations for shortcuts, obstacles, Rings, items, and more including randomly spawning Frenzy gates!

Gadget Customization

Personalize your machines with a wide array of gadgets, each with unique effects. As you play the game, you will unlock more gadgets to trick out your ride, letting you create the perfect machine for your racing style!

Closed Network Test Coming to PlayStation^®5!
