Sony Interactive Entertainment is celebrating 30 years of PlayStation this holiday with new games,  accessories, and hardware. 

November 25, 2024, Singapore — As the holiday shopping season approaches, Sony Interactive  Entertainment releases its 2024 PlayStation® Holiday Gift Guide filled with the latest range of  products for gift-givers this holiday season. 

New this year to the holiday lineup are two family-friendly adventure games for the PlayStation®5  (PS5® console): 

• Astro Bot, a supersized space adventure featuring an adorable robotic hero trying to rescue  his stranded crew and rebuild the PlayStation 5 mothership; 
• LEGO® Horizon Adventures, a playful and light-hearted story inspired by the events of the  first chapter in the Horizon series. 

PC gamers can explore even more game experiences from PlayStation Studios this year, including  God of War Ragnarök, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, and Helldivers 2. Another top holiday title  available this year is Until Dawn, the genre-defining horror adventure rebuilt from the ground up for  the PS5 console and PC.

The PlayStation 5 console continues to be widely available this holiday season, offering players an  amazing gaming experience with access to thousands of immersive games. Those looking for a  premium console gaming experience also have a new option this year with PlayStation®5 Pro. It  delivers the most visually impressive way to play games on a PlayStation console with super sharp  4K visuals and smooth gameplay. More than 50 PS5® Pro Enhanced titles are currently available like  The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Hogwarts Legacy, and more. 

Members of the game subscription service, PlayStation®Plus, can find a diverse range of popular  titles to play from the Extra and Deluxe tier offering, including popular hits like The Last of Us Part I, Monster Hunter Rise, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In addition, all PlayStation Plus members can  get access to monthly games, exclusive discounts, online multiplayer, and additional benefits,  depending on the plan they choose. 

The latest PlayStation accessories 

In addition to games and the PS5 consoles, a number of accessories are available to complement  the PS5 gaming experience. Introduced this holiday season, the Chroma Collection features new  console cover colors that players can easily swap to customize their PS5 console and matching  DualSense wireless controllers that shine and shift colors when viewed from different angles. 

Alongside the new Chroma accessories, players can unlock new ways to experience their favorite  games with PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player and the virtual reality headset PlayStation®VR2, or  bump up in-game audio immersion to a new level with PULSE Explore™wireless earbuds and PULSE  Elite™ wireless headset. 

• New PS5 console covers and DualSense controller colors 

o New PS5 accessory colors coming out just in time for the holiday season with the  Chroma Collection – a brand-new aesthetic to the PS5 family of accessories. 

o Chroma Collection comes in three new colors that shine, shimmer, and shift colors  from every angle: Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo (available now) and Chroma  Teal (launching January 23, 2025). 

• PlayStation Portal Remote Player 

o A popular holiday gift for PS5 gamers, PlayStation's first dedicated remote player is a  perfect device for gamers in households that might need to share their living room  TV or simply want to play PS5 games in another room of the house. 

• PlayStation PULSE Explore wireless earbuds

o PlayStation's first wireless earbuds provide a premium portable audio experience  that includes dual microphones with AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of  filtering background sounds. It is also the first of two audio devices that leverage  custom-designed planar magnetic drivers, which are often found in premium  headphones for professional sound engineers. 

• PlayStation PULSE Elite wireless headset 

o First PlayStation headset to use planar magnetic drivers, which are often found in  premium headphones for professional sound engineers. It also includes a  retractable boom mic with AI-enhanced noise rejection capable of filtering  background sounds. 

• PlayStation VR2 

o PS VR2 is PlayStation's first headset to include eye tracking, headset feedback, see through view, as well as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback through PS VR2  Sense controller – captivating players' senses and offering an incredibly deep feeling  of immersion. 

o This year, we introduced the PS VR2 PC Adapter to provide players with access to  Steam's expansive library of thousands of VR games, including fan favorites like  Half-Life: Alyx, Fallout 4 VR, and War Thunder. 

• DualSense Edge™ wireless controller

o The first high-performance, ultra-customizable controller for the PS5 console  designed for players to create a personalized gaming experience that adapts to their  playstyle.
