Street Fighter 6 Ingrid Release Date Announced

Capcom has announced the release date for its final character for Season 3 of Street Fighter 6, Ingrid, as well as a breakdown of her moveset. 

In a new trailer, they revealed that Ingrid would release for Street Fighter 6 on May 28th, with more than a month to go until players can play as the Lonely Rolling Star Cosmic Girl.

They've also put out a new blog post, detailing Ingrid's special moves and playstyles. 

True to form, Ingrid is a projectile heavy zoner, commanding an impressive arsenal of beams and fireballs to lock down her opponents. 

These include slow-moving projectiles as well as air variants, allowing her to always command space even if she's in a jump.

In addition, she can build stocks of her Sun Crest resource, further enhancing her special moves and Super Arts. 

These Sun Crests can be stored by doing the Light version of her specials and holding down the button, allowing her to end in an extra stock.

In exchange, using Sun Crests can increase hits on her special moves, as well as adding more combo potential for Heavy and OD variants.

She can also do several teleports, letting her shift her position to get away, or even go in to maintain pressure on unsuspecting opponents. 

These teleports have their own moves coming out of them, making them a key part of running her offense when she decides to go in. 

On top of that, she also has a counter, letting her punish predictable opponents as well as survive the same fireball pressure she inflicts on other players.
