After weeks of fan request, Distributor Encore Films has announced Malaysian screenings of The Amazing Digital Circus The Last Act.

Announced on Twitter today, Encore Films Malaysia has not announced a specific release date just yet- only that the series finale would be coming to local screens.
"From one of the world’s most viral indie animation IPs, The Amazing Digital Circus is officially making its way to MALAYSIAN CINEMAS with its epic finale — “THE LAST ACT”. Coming soon in cinemas! Are you ready for the last act?", the tweet reads.
Similarly, TGV Cinemas has also announced that they will be screening the episode in their theatres.
The episode is set to start its theatrical run on June 4th in the US.
The Fight To Get Malaysian Screenings Of The Amazing Digital Circus The Last Act

This follows the announcement that the internet series long-awaited finale would not be aired as a normal episode- with the studio behind it instead opting for a theatrical release.
Those who could get a screening could see the episode first, with it releasing on YouTube two weeks later.
Fans outside of the US had lamented how hard it would be to share in the finale with other fans, given how much harder it is to watch it when it releases if you don't have any nearby screenings.
"The reason we're pushing for this at all is because this one event has the potential to change how the entire industry views indie animation", says Kevin Lerdwichagul, CEO of GLITCH, the makers of the series.
In Malaysia, fans had mobilized on social media, with an online petition to get the movie shown locally, culminating in today's news.
