Sunrise has announced the release date for the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans Urdr Hunt movie, which compiles the story from the now-cancelled mobile game.
In a new announcement today they confirmed the Urdr Hunt movie will release on October 31st in Japan, with no word on an English release.
In addition, as part of the 10th anniversary of the Iron Blooded Orphans anime, the film will also include a short story featuring the original Tekkadan crew.
This short film even includes a new form for the Barbatos Gundam, meaning it takes place between the events of season 1 and 2.
Urdr Hunt Movie Plot

In the original game, the Urdr Hunt was a strange and mysterious race that main character Wistario takes part in to win enough money to turn his life around.
He does this with the help of Coronal Xhosa, a mysterious girl who says she is a guide to the Urdr Hunt.
While the original Iron Blooded Orphans took place primarily on Mars and Earth, Wistario himself was from Venus, giving the series wiggle room to not have to deal with the major political happenings of the original anime.
The mobile game featured a heavy amount of animated cutscenes, all done in the same style as the original anime.

It also heavily expanded on the Gundams of the Calamity War, adding new machines to the roster such as Wistoria's own Hajiroboshi and the Gundam Marchosias.
