The Wakura Pokemon Footbath has been announced, adding a new Pokemon-shaped landmark to Nanao City in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

This free footbath, available today, lets guests warm up their feet in a mini-onsen, all within line of sight of the city's own PokeLid manhole cover and located in Yuttari Park.
Overlooking Nanao Bay, the footbath is expected to pull in tourists to the city, which was affected by earthquakes in 2024, causing the closure of various hotels in the area, according to 4Gamer.
Wakura Pokemon Footbath Features

Similar to the Pokepark Kanto, the Wakura Pokemon Footbath features lively statues of Pokemon hanging around the footbath- with the selection based off the city's Pokelid.
This includes statues of Pokemon like Politoed and Poliwag, as well as Vaporeon, Gyarados and even Quaxly.

These statues are part of the footbath itself- with Gyarados being the source of the footbath's water while the others just relax by the side while you soak your feet.
In addition, the walls also feature prints of Pokemon, making it a great spot for Pokemon fans visiting Japan.
